Professional Background

Dr. Buck is a board-certified OB/GYN. She grew up in the midwest attending Indiana University Bloomington on scholarship graduating with a degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry, Animal Behavior, and Spanish.

She attended medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa where she was president of the American Medical Student Association leading ultrasound workshops and volunteer efforts at Ronald McDonald House charities. She graduated OBGYN residency at University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria where she received multiple awards in excellence for medical student teaching, highest score on CREOG examinations, and SLS outstanding laparoscopic resident surgeon in her 4th year.

She has a heart for the underserved and has participated in global trips providing medical care to underserved communities in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Tanzania. She is passionate about providing high quality care to all patients specifically in high risk obstetrics, the LGBTQ population, and excels in minimally invasive surgical techniques providing services such as ovarian cystectomies, endometriosis excision, myomectomy, and hysterectomy.

In her free time she likes to travel, run, and spend time with her family/kittens. She is fluent in Spanish.
