Huiwen Liu, MD

Dr. Huiwen (Wendy) Liu was born in Jinan, China, and immigrated to the United States when she was three. Her family eventually settled in Dallas, Texas, where she and her sister grew up.

She studied Biochemistry at Rice University in Houston, attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas, and matched to OBGYN residency at Tulane School of Medicine. She began her career in Houston and is now looking forward to enjoying the seasons in Chicago.

She is passionate about preventative health and patient-centered care and is always looking for ways to improve her patients' lives. Her clinical interests include the management of pelvic pain and advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

In her free time, she is an avid foodie, artist, and technology enthusiast. She is an animal lover and shares her home with two cats, who graciously allow her to live on their turf.
