Coverage, Costs, and What to Expect
Women's HealthFirst accepts most major insurance plans and works hard to keep your billing as clear and straightforward as possible. That said, every insurance plan is different, and understanding your coverage ahead of time can help you avoid unexpected costs and make the most of your visit.
Your Patient Responsibility
Even when a visit or procedure is covered by insurance, you may still have out-of-pocket costs. These typically include:
- Copays due at the time of your visit
- Deductible amounts until your annual deductible is met
- Coinsurance — your percentage of costs after the deductible
- Costs for services not covered under your specific plan
If you have questions about a bill you have received, our billing team is happy to walk you through it.
Confirm Your Coverage Before Your Visit
Insurance networks and plan requirements can change. The best way to avoid surprises is to verify your coverage directly with your insurance provider before your appointment.
- Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card
- Ask specifically whether Women's HealthFirst providers are in-network under your plan
- Ask what your copay, deductible, and coinsurance amounts are for OB/GYN services

Accepted Insurance Plans
Women's HealthFirst accepts most major health insurance plans. We also offer competitive self-pay options and OB/GYN payment plans for patients without insurance coverage. If your plan is not listed or you are unsure whether we are in-network, please contact our office before your visit and we will be glad to help.
