Melissa Horton, PA-C

Melissa Horton is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Lactation Consultant. 

In her clinical practice, Melissa provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care. She is particularly passionate about birth control counseling and supporting women through every stage of life. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients, walking alongside them through challenges and milestones in their healthcare journeys.

Melissa is also pursuing certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to expand the support she can provide to her patients further. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA), and Association of Physician Associates in Obstetrics & Gynecology (APAOG).

Outside of her medical career, Melissa is a runner who frequently races across the Chicagoland area. She also enjoys playing volleyball and pickleball, baking, playing the trumpet, and spending quality time with her dog.
